bGood was thrilled to be part of the "My Heart is Stereo" hosted by the Sunflower RN, where over 30 seniors got hands-on with exergaming projects designed by our FYP students. From rhythm dance and cycling to grip strength and leg extension, the seniors enthusiastically playtested these movement-based games aimed at promoting active aging. bGood hosted a unique 3D printing workshop for 20 seniors from PCF Sparkle Care.In this hands-on session, seniors were guided step-by-step into the world of 3D Computer-Aided Design, learning how to create custom phone stand designs. With support from our students, many participants completed their first-ever 3D models and watched them come to life on the printers.

We’re proud to share that the bGood team consisting of Jonathon Leong, Fatin Sharafana and Denise Caluza clinched the Second Prize at the annual Huawei ICT APAC Finals. They will now be representing Singapore and the APAC region to take on the Global Finals. Let's cheer them on towards victory!

We’re thrilled to share that our bGood team recently collaborated with Ms S. from the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore to design and test a fully automated rain canopy for wheelchair users. A big thank you to CPAS for the opportunity to work closely with your community, and to Ms S. for her valuable insights throughout the process. We’re excited about the potential this solution holds for improving daily mobility in all weather conditions.

We were honoured to present projects from the bGood initiative to Mr Eric Chua, Senior Parliamentary Secretary and MP for Tanjong Pagar GRC (Queenstown). Mr Chua officiated the opening of the new community engagement hub today, which welcomed its first visitors from Queenstown.

We’re thrilled to share that our bGood students collaborated with Mr. D'Costa from Faith Acts to design a fully automated height-adjustable wheelchair. Mr. D'Costa is delighted with the prototype, and our students are already gearing up to refine and enhance future iterations!

Our bGood team had the pleasure of showcasing our program to staff and students from Ngee Ann Polytechnic during their visit to the NUS College of Design and Engineering. The students toured our lab and had the opportunity to explore a variety of exciting student projects.

bGood successfully conducted its first run of 3D printing workshop, featuring 8 engaging sessions with 10 seniors from NTUC Health Kampong Admiralty. In the final session, the seniors proudly showcased their newfound skills by creating personalized gifts for their family and friends. On August 28, bGood had an exciting visit to Parkinson's Society Singapore. Our students engaged in a dynamic focused group discussion with Parkinson's Warriors, gaining valuable insights into their everyday challenges.

Our bGood team had the privilege of introducing our programme to staff and students from Beijing Jiaotong University during a week-long exchange program. As part of their visit, they also explored the Design Incubation Centre and the Innovation Design Hub at NUS, gaining valuable insights into our latest student innovations.

On 23rd May, we organized our third NUS Co-Design Week that brought together students, community partners and senior residents to brainstorm and solve every day struggles. Student participants were split into 9 teams and had to design strategies around the themes of inclusivity.

bGood donated 30 sets of Makan Together to support the College of Alice & Peter Tan (CAPT). They too work with individuals with low vision and had requested to borrow some Makan Together for their community outreach.

After receiving excellent feedback from St. Luke's Eldercare staff, the students decided to secure more funding in hopes to manufacture more bowls to help more visually impaired indiviuals.

“BN4102 Gerontechnology in Ageing” exposes students to understand the challenges faced by seniors in our society, and allows them to co-create a prototype to help solve or alleviate their problems.
