Welcome to bGood, an initiative housed in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the National University of Singapore. Collaborating with community partners, we strive to empower our students to address the everyday obstacles encountered by Persons with Disabilities and the elderly community.
Innovation through education
Our curriculum lays the technical foundations in the first and second years, equipping students with basic skills in design and engineering. In their third and final years, students apply their expertise to real-world community problems through two specialized modules: BN4102 Gerontechnology in Ageing and BN4103 Assistive Technologies for Persons with Disability.

Makan Together is an adaptive tableware for the visually impaired. It enables easier identification of individual dishes, helping them to be independent during their meals.
Grip buddy is designed to assist individuals who require a helping hand to open a jar.
Rehabot assists Parkinson's patients in their walking gait exercises at home or in rehabilitation centres.

Pedal-IT is a portable game device that can be attached to bi-pedals to make exercise more engaging.
MOUNTable is a paddle switch which allows persons with disabilities to activate the switch with any part of their body and it can be mounted anywhere.
Glide Ease is an assistive writing kit empowering one-handed writing for users with bi-lateral auto-amputation.
Shademate revolutionises wheelchair umbrellas by automating them, elevating both comfort and independence for wheelchair users.
Armovin is a revolutionary robotic arm that could be attached to a wheelchair for improved arm control for individuals with minimal or no arm control.
A customised learning set-up for individuals with hypertonia and visual impairment, with features that prioritises student comfort and conveneince during learning.
